We plan to redevelop our building to create a flagship community hub that will provide a fitting base for Hirwaun YMCA and for other local groups and organisations.  The community hub will provide a suitable environment for us to deliver our existing services, and new services and opportunities to local people.  Architects plans have already been drawn up and the necessary work has been costed.

The new community hub will provide a valuable new resource to local people who will hire space to hold parties and other celebrations.  Local groups and organisations will have access to a quality facility in which to meet.  Local people attracted to leisure opportunities at the hub will be able to engage with our employability and welfare programmes.  We will be able to attract outside agencies to rent space at the hub to deliver additional services to local people.  The upturn in footfall will enable us to win new contracts to deliver additional services.
